Step into the shadows for a creative Halloween evening where imagination takes a spooky turn!
Learn how to design your own creepy character, exploring how its lore (or backstory) shapes its appearance, personality, and style. Our young volunteer El (@witchandquill) will guide participants through drawing, storytelling, and character-building techniques to bring your ghoulish ideas to life.

Then, settle in for a movie night featuring a Tim Burton classic (film TBA but not for little eyes), complete with popcorn and “spider" drinks.
🕷 Cost: $10 per person (every dollar is a fundraiser to The Lighthouse - seriously El, you are a gem of a person to be doing this
🖍 Bring: Your own art supplies if you prefer working with your favourite tools, otherwise, materials will be provided.
🎃 Dress: Spooky attire encouraged (if you dare!)
